Finding Confidence and Strength through Her Boudoir Session

The confidence that this shoot gave me is amazing. I love how empowering it was, and the experience is like no other. The journey I have taken has been hard, exhausting, tear filled, but also miraculous and empowering. From having an ectopic pregnancy to having a miscarriage. Then a happy moment came, I was pregnant with my rainbow baby. The stress and pain didn't ease. The heartbreak of watching my step child fight cancer but not making it. So much loss and grieving in a matter of 3 years.

Q: Strength comes in many forms. What does strength mean to you, and how do you cultivate it in your daily life?

A: I've learned life is in no way fair. The memories stick with each individual highlighting their weakest and also strongest moments. To me strength is getting to the next day its managing your fears and wisdom of what you already know and have been through. I cultivate strength in my daily life by seeing what I have endured and what I have now. By looking at my beautiful children and knowing that we will get through everything life throws at us.

To feel confident in my skin is one thing I never expected to feel again. This session was more than just taking pictures it was showing the wonders my body went through in carrying my children. The strength of continuing on when I no longer thought my strength was there. My self image had been lacking and I didn't think to highly of myself. With Melissa's help I found my confidence and the beauty that was hiding buried deep inside me. I firmly believe every woman should have a photoshoot
