Grace thought about boudoir for about a year before she booked.
Her self-esteem was low. She wanted to feel better about how she looked. The investmemt almost stopped her. In the end, she decided she was done waiting!
She told one person. Her husband.
Grace expected boudoir to feel uncomfortable. She walked in nervous and scared.
She was also afraid of something most women never say out loud. She didn't know how she would feel when she saw her images.
Did she worry about her body? "Yes, needed to see myself in a better light."
For Grace, the nerves started to fade as soon as she saw the studio. She sais she was "surprised how comfortable I felt."
Hair and makeup was new for her. "It was something I never experienced before," she said. It brought the focus to her face and her eyes.
She didn't even need to shop for outfits. She wore pieces from the studio's client closet.
Her favorite part of the whole session was seeing her portraits. Her reaction was one word. "Wow."
What surprised her most was the result. When she got home, she told her husband, "I felt better about myself."
And she found something she had lost along the way:
"That even though I'm a plus size woman I am still beautiful."
Was it worth it? "Yes it was worth it, just in helping my self confidence."
Her session in three words: interesting, eye-opening, worth it.
If you've been thinking about it for years: "Don't keep thinking about it just do it."
If you think you're too old, too big, or not sexy enough: "Just because you think that now, you won't after you see the results."
How to get ready: "Get out of your own mind and trust the process; the results will be worth it."
About your photographer: "Trust the photographer; they know what they are doing."
Most women walk in nervous. Grace did too. Her nerves faded once she saw the studio, and she was surprised how comfortable she felt. You don't need posing know-how. I guide everything.
Yes. Boudoir is for every body. Grace was worried about her body before her session. After, she said, "even though I'm a plus size woman I am still beautiful."
No. Grace wore pieces from the studio's client closet.
Cost almost stopped Grace from booking. Afterward, she said it was worth it for what it did for her self-confidence.
Grace waited a year. You don't have to.
If you've been thinking about boudoir, let's talk. I'll walk you through how a session works, what to wear, and what you'll take home.
