Jul 9, 2025 | By: Petal and Pose Boudoir

Meet today's beautiful Wildflower, who had this to say about her session:

"Melissa was absolutely AMAZING!!! I was quite nervous to leap into this photo shoot and Melissa was so kind and energetic and that made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She walked me through every pose and my confidence went through the roof. Everything from hair and makeup to the photo reveal went perfectly! If anyone is even considering a boudoir shoot, just do it!!!"

Q. The Power of Friendship: Strong female friendships are essential. How do your girlfriends support you, and how do you nurture these important relationships?

I surround myself with wonderful and honest women that are always there for me.  They are few, but they are mighty.  I know I can count on these ladies to lift me up when I am down and be blunt when I need it.  I nurture these relationships by giving these ladies all the time and love they give me.  Without them, I would not be where I am today.

Q. Redefining Success: What does success look like to you? Is it a high-powered career, a happy family, or something else entirely?

Success to me is feeling accomplished after finishing a job, task, or outing. It doesn't matter your career or family status, it is what brings you joy and happiness. Success for me is seeing my family grow and thrive. It is the sense of accomplishment at work when I know I helped a patient make it through their day. It is the relationship that is still nurtured between my husband and I after so many years together.

Q. The Art of Forgiveness: Holding onto grudges can be a burden. Have you learned to forgive yourself or others? How has forgiveness impacted your life?

Grudges are tough, especially when you hold on to one for years.  I had one in particular that I held onto for over 10 years.  When I finally decided this was no longer benefiting me, letting it go felt like I could enjoy and be present in my own life again.
