Her body has carried three kids. Later came a cancer scare and a hysterectomy. After all of that, she says she knew her body was never going to look the same. So she made a choice. Here is her story, in her own words.

Q: Is there a piece of your body you've made peace with? Or one you're still working on?

A: After three kids, a scare with cancer and a hysterectomy, I realized my body was never going to be the same. I have come to accept the beauty and the story behind my loose skin, stretch marks, and scars. This body gave life and it was time I gave a little back to myself.

Q: What do you want to feel when you look at a photograph of yourself?

A: I want to feel confident no matter where I am in life, what I look like or how much I weigh. I want to feel unapologetically confident and beautiful, on the inside and out.

Q: What's one thing that women don't say out loud enough, but probably should?

A: I wish women complimented each other more and showed more respect and support for our differences. We should be lifting each other up, not tearing each other down.
