Q: What does a woman who's genuinely at home in her own body look like to you? Have you ever felt that way yourself?
A: I feel like a women that walks past others with her head high with that confidence of being at one in her own body. They are just all around comfortable and at peace with who they truly are. I found this when I started wearing clothes that made me feel good and made me feel comfortable with how I look. I hated "dressing for my age" or "dressing like a mom" because I found that I'm more than just a mom and it doesn't matter my age. Finding my styles made my confidence skyrocket.
Q: What does it feel like to be seen… actually seen… by someone, without judgment?
A: To be seen deeper than the surface is such a relief, it's an internal wall being knocked down that has been built to protect yourself from judgement over the years. It is a connection that just comes naturally and doesn't require draining your social battery to maintain.
Q: If your tattoos were the only thing someone knew about you before they met you, what would they get right? What would they get wrong?
A: Something they would get right is that I have children and like spooky Halloween themes. Something I feel they would get wrong is that I'm rough around the edges, or not professional, I always feel like that is something that regularly gets judged in people with tattoos.
